Fractional CFO · FP&A · Finance automation
Finance that keeps up with the business.
I help small companies and nonprofits build the planning, reporting, and forecasting they should have had two years ago — then hand it over so their team can run it without me.
Typically for organizations between $2M and $50M in revenue — large enough that the numbers matter, small enough that nobody has time to own them full-time.
Where I usually come in
None of this means anyone did anything wrong.
It means the business grew faster than the finance function did. That is normal, and it is fixable.
The close takes three weeks
And it still surfaces surprises. By the time the numbers are final, the month they describe is already over.
Budget season eats the fall
Six weeks of emailed workbooks, broken links, and three people arguing about which version is current.
Someone rebuilds the same report
Every month, by hand, from the same exports. It works right up until that person takes a vacation.

Fractional CFO & Controller
Senior finance leadership, part-time.
Board-ready reporting, cash forecasting, and the judgment calls that need someone who has made them before — without carrying a full-time executive salary.

A planning cycle you can actually run.
Budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting built as a repeatable process, so next year takes days instead of the six weeks this one did.

Stop rebuilding the same workbook.
Your actuals pulled straight from the accounting system into PlanVector and reconciled on the way in — replacing the monthly export-and-paste ritual with reporting that is simply there.
Read moreDelivered on a retainer of $8,000 or $15,000 a month, both including the first year of PlanVector. Every rate is published — no quote process.
How engagements work
The goal is to make myself unnecessary.
- 1
Diagnose
Two weeks inside your actual books, systems, and close calendar. You get a written assessment of what is fragile and what it is costing you — useful whether or not we work together.
- 2
Build
Foundation first: chart of accounts, close calendar, reporting package. Then the planning cycle on top of it. All of it built in PlanVector, so it lives in one place rather than a folder of workbooks.

Hand off
Your team runs it without me. Documented, owned internally, and deliberately boring. If you need me after that, it should be for the next problem, not this one.
Software · PlanVector
One system to run finance on.
PlanVector is the financial operating system I built for the organizations I work with. Actuals arrive from QuickBooks on their own, the plan and forecast live beside them, and the board package comes out of the same place without a single copy-paste.
- Actuals, plan, forecast, and reporting in one place
- Connections to QuickBooks and HubSpot that I keep current
- Two-factor sign-in, encryption, and nightly off-site backups
- One central copy in a browser — no hunting for the latest version
